Mariners Acquire LHP Ryan Borucki from Toronto

ARLINGTON, Texas — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the Mariners have acquired left-handed pitcher Ryan Borucki (bo-ruck-key) from Toronto in exchange for minor league infielder Tyler Keenan. To make room on the 40-man roster, INF Mike Ford has been designated for assignment.

Seattle’s Major League, 40-man, roster remains full at 40 players.

Borucki, 28, has made 75 Major League appearances (19 starts) across 5 seasons (2018-c) all with Toronto, going 8–9 with a 4.47 ERA (75 ER, 151.0 IP) with 67 walks and 123 strikeouts.
