Mariners Acquire International Slot Money from Minnesota

Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today that the club has acquired international slot money from Minnesota in exchange for minor league catcher David Banuelos.

Banuelos, 21, hit .236 (30x127) with 24 runs, 8 doubles, 4 home runs and 26 RBI in 36 games with short-A Everett in 2017. He was one of three players selected to represent the AquaSox on the Northwest League All-Star Team, where he went 1-for-2 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
