NEW YORK, N.Y. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that INF Mike Ford has been acquired from San Francisco in exchange for cash considerations.
The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster is now full at 40 players.
Ford (#70), 29, has been acquired by Seattle after being traded by the Mariners to the Giants in exchange for cash considerations on April 30. He was selected by Seattle on April 19, but did not appear in a game. He appeared in 1 game with San Francisco this season, going 1-for-4 with 2 RBI.
