Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that the club has acquired infielder Luis Sardiñas from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for outfielder Ramon Flores.
Sardiñas, 22, spent the majority of last season with AAA Colorado Springs, hitting .282 (110×390) with 51 runs, 17 doubles, 5 triples, 1 home run, 33 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 103 games. Appeared in 36 games with the Brewers, hitting .196 (19×97) with 8 runs, 1 triple and 4 RBI in two stints in the Majors (May 15-June 8 & Sept.
