NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - A 59-year-old middle Tennessee man was arrested for public intoxication Wednesday after allegedly drinking alcohol inside a Walmart and then falling asleep.
According to the police affidavit, employees at the Dickerson Pike Walmart location called police because Kimberly Tyson was found drinking an alcoholic beverage inside. Tyson also "fell asleep several times" and police say it was apparent he was "highly intoxicated."
Tyson was unable to follow officers' directions and was asked to leave several times but refused. Tyson "started cursing at officers" and refused to walk, so he had to be carried out by police.
