For quite some time, there have been rumblings that Mariners legend Edgar Martinez will—now and then—step in the cage and demonstrate that sweet swing with liner after liner.

There was this, in Houston, in 2016:

And then this not long ago:

In a conversation about Edgar on the latest episode of The Wheelhouse, Aaron asked Jerry about that tweet from Mitch.

So, 55 years old, he can walk into a batting cage with no prep—he will not stretch, won’t get loose—and just grab a bat and hit a line drive somewhere.
