On August 12, 2015 against the Orioles at T-Mobile Park, Hisashi Iwakuma became the second Japanese-born pitcher to throw a no-hitter in Major
League history, joining Hideo Nomo.

Iwakuma issued 2 walks in the 4th inning and 1 free pass in the 8th inning but did not allow a hit while throwing 116 pitches. It was the first no-hitter
in the American League since Félix Hernández’s perfect game (8/15/12).
