Former Seattle Mariners great Felix Hernandez said he wants to reach 200 career wins and 3,000 strikeouts before he retires.
“I’m not thinking about (retirement) yet because I feel I still have more to do in the game of baseball,” Hernandez told 710 ESPN Seattle this week. “I know I can pitch. I have a lot of weapons to get people out. I’m going to go year by year because my goal is to get to 200 wins and 3,000 strikeouts. If I can get to that goal, I can hang my spikes. I’m done.
