Like many children, Jake Fraley grew up huddled around the television or racing to his home teams’ stadium on summer nights to watch Major League Baseball players shine under the lights. As a multi-sport athlete, Fraley quickly realized that baseball was the route. Year after year, his parents asked if they were signing him up for baseball again, and his response was “Yeah, let’s go.” Then the mentality changed into, “I’m pretty good at this, and I really enjoy working at this. I’m going to do this,” Fraley said.
Once Fraley committed to baseball, he made sure to keep family at the forefront of his priorities.
