In case you missed the game yesterday, the Mariners lost, and largely because Nick Margevicius was only able to record one (1) out on 32 pitches, only 13 of which he threw for strikes. This, coupled with Marge’s early exit from his last start against the Astros where he suffered a similar loss of command, is concerning, and Margevicius will head for an MRI when the team arrives in Houston. He’s currently being described by the team as suffering “shoulder fatigue,” which is pretty scary as shoulders can be really tough to rehab, and can’t help but put us here at LL in mind of the dreaded sog.
