Mariners Hall of Famer Dan Wilson spread some cheer to patients at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, part of the CHI Franciscan family.
CHI Franciscan is the Seattle Mariners official “partner in health,” and Dan is an ambassador for CHI’s “Northwest Healthy” message.
Dan visited with patients and staff at the Orthopedic Joint Center, signed autographs, posed for photos and handed out get well packs.
The Mariners entered into a multi-year partnership with CHI Franciscan this year to help promote the nonprofit health system’s messages about health and wellness.
Dan, who looks like he’s in good enough shape to strap on a chest protector and get out on the field, appears in radio and TV commercials promoting simple things people can do, like exercising and eating right, to get and stay healthy.
