Classic Mariners Games: Kyle Seager Equals Club Record With Four Extra-Base Hits

On June 2, 2014, Kyle Seager became only the 6th Mariner in club history to record 4 extra-base hits in a game, leading Seattle to a 10–2 win over the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Seager joined Mike Blowers, Ken Griffey Jr., Mike Cameron Adrián Beltré (2x) and Raúl Ibañez in accomplishing this feat (Ryon Healy later joined the group on May 8, 2019 at Yankee Stadium).

The Mariners third baseman went 4-for-5 with 3 runs, 1 double, 2 triples, 1 home run and 3 RBI in the victory. Seager tripled off Yankees starter David Phelps in the top of the 2nd inning and collected another three-base hit off Phelps in the 4th.
