On this date in 2016, Dae-Ho Lee recorded his second career multi-homer game, and added 4 RBI, to lead the Mariners to a 7–5 win over the Texas Rangers at T-Mobile Park.
Lee staked the Mariners to a 1–0 lead with a solo home run off Rangers starter Derek Holland in the bottom of the 2nd inning. In his second at-bat, Lee belted a three-run home run off Holland to give the Mariners a 4–1 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning. Kyle Seager immediately followed Lee with a solo homer of his own, extending Seattle’s lead to 5–1.
