Pete Woodworth is entering his 1st season as the Mariners pitching coach in 2020 after spending the previous four seasons as a pitching coach with Mariners minor league affiliates.
In 2019, Woodworth was the pitching coach for the Double-A Arkansas Travelers, where he was named the Texas League Coach of the Year by the league’s field staffs and media. Arkansas led the Texas League in ERA, shutouts and complete games last season, while allowing the fewest walks and home runs.
