Jarret DeHart enters his first season as the Mariners Assistant Hitting Coach in 2020. It marks his first season on a Major League staff, but his third as a coach in the Mariners organization.
The native of Medford, NJ was the club’s Hitting Strategist — working with hitting, hitting coaches and analysts at all levels of the organization in 2019, following the 2018 season as the Hitting Coach for the AZL Mariners.
DeHart graduated from Shawnee (NJ) High School in 2013, where he was a four-year letterman and was named All-America by Under Armour and Rawlings for his senior year.
