Cano leaves early due to hamstring tightness

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Robinson Cano was removed from the Mariners game against the Reds in the top of the second inning on Sunday due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Cano was on defense with one out in the inning when he motioned to the bench and walked off the field with head trainer Rob Nodine while holding his glove over his mouth as he talked.

Cano, who had flied out to center in the bottom of the first, was replaced by Minor Leaguer Danny Muno.
