After weeks of noting he’d gladly participate, Cal Raleigh is officially in to participate in the 2025 Home Run Derby over All-Star Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. Raleigh informed the Seattle Times that he intends to have his father, Todd Raleigh, a longtime coach at Florida State University, pitch to him, while his younger brother Todd Jr. will hopefully catch, per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. The experience will allow the three to play at on the MLB field nearest to where Raleigh grew up in Sylva, North Carolina.
Raleigh will be in town already to start the All-Star Game, as one of the top vote-getters in all of MLB for his already-record-setting season behind the dish.
