Raleigh added another distinction to his record-setting first half Monday: Home Run Derby champ. He narrowly advanced from the first round on a controversial tiebreaker before finding his form and crushing 54 total home runs — the most for anyone on the night. He did it with his father on the mound and his brother behind the plate. It’s something he’d dreamed about as a kid.
“It means the world,” Raleigh told ESPN after the final round. “I could’ve hit zero home runs and had just as much fun.
