Bryce Miller Strikes Out 6 as Mariners Fall 4–2 to Athletics

MESA, Ariz. — The Mariners fell by a score of 4–2 to the A’s this afternoon at Hohokam Stadium. Bryce Miller was dominant in his 3.2 innings of work, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6.

The Mariners got on the board with 2 in the 5th inning after Brian Anderson connected on his 2nd home run of the spring. Dylan Moore singled home Sam Haggerty to give the Mariners a 2–1 lead.

Zack Gelof answered for the A’s in the bottom half of the inning, belting a 2-run homer, his 4th of the Spring, to restore Oakland’s 1-run lead.
