Albuquerque sneaks past the Tacoma Rainiers, 4-3

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Stephen Cardullo hit a sacrifice fly to break a tie in the bottom of the eighth inning, lifting the Albuquerque Isotopes to a 4-3 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers in a Pacific Coast League game Monday afternoon.

Albuquerque took a 3-0 lead in the second inning, but the Rainiers (18-13) came back to tie the score with two runs in the third inning and one in the fifth.

Rainiers shortstop Chris Taylor went 2 for 3 with a triple and was the only Tacoma player with more that one hit.
