As Seattle Public Schools works through its spring break the Mariners have managed to procure a very collegiate spring break schedule. Traveling to a distant and intriguing land like Baltimore, or Tucson, or Stockton to face off against less common opponents in seven inning double-headers with practice days interspersed. I can almost taste the In-N-Out seasoned with Old Bay.
Game One of today’s double-dip starts bright and early, cracking off at 9:35 AM PT with Marco Gonzales on the hill. The M’s and O’s are once again employing the strategy of using their starters higher in the rotation for the first game of Jackie Robinson Day.
