My wife and I were there 2 weeks ago. Stay in French Quarter for sure. Lots to see and do. IF you are willing to walk and like history, go. Ghost tours, horse drawn carriages, WWII museum that is absolutely the boss, cathedral, Jackson Square, spontaneous street music, riverboat, swamp tours, New Orleans Zephyrs-AAA team for Miami Marlins(May even see ex-M’s on their roster).
