108-Year-Old Mariners Fan to Set Record with Saturday’s First Pitch

The Mariners are set to break another MLB record on Saturday, welcoming centenarian and lifelong Mariners fan Evelyn Jones to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Safeco Field on Saturday, July 11. Jones, who will be celebrating her 108th birthday on Saturday, will become the oldest person to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at a baseball game. The previous record holder was 105-year-old Agnes McKee, who threw out a pitch before a San Diego Padres game on July 20, 2014.
