FRESNO, Calif. – Emily Nicholson and Shelby Vidmar each scored three times to lead Fresno State (10-7) to a 19-6 win over Santa Clara women's water polo in Saturday's meeting of Golden Coast Conference teams.
Lauren Baglietto had two goals, and Anuhea Ledesma, Chloe Morrison, Kelly Frumkin and Lauren Voss each scored once for the Broncos (2-9).
Fresno State scored six consecutive goals in the second period, giving them a 15-4 lead over Santa Clara heading into the second half.
The Broncos were unable to recover from the early deficit.
