SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis head coach Clif Awuy announced the hiring of Alory Pereira, a former All-Southern Conference selection in both singles and doubles, as an assistant coach.
"Seven years ago, I was very fortunate to get a full scholarship to play Division I tennis in the United States. It was like a dream come true. And now, as that part of my life has been completed, I am looking forward to being on the other side of the game, as a coach," said Pereira who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and played at East Tennessee State.
