SANTA CLARA, Calif.. - In the home finale of the 2023 spring season, three Santa Clara women's tennis team seniors were recognized but the Broncos lost 4-2 to Cal Poly in a nonconference match on Sunday at the Degheri Tennis Center.
Dasee Carter, JennaMarie Gordon and Giulia Hayer were honored in a ceremony prior to the match.
Each of the seniors played in the doubles portion with Gordon teaming up with Velizara Fileva to defeat the Mustangs' duo of Kim Bhunu and Kennedy Buntrock 6-3 to split the first two doubles matches.
