SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Now more than halfway through the conference season, Santa Clara women's soccer stayed perfect with a 2-1 win at San Diego on Wednesday night.
The offense was the story of the night for the Broncos (8-6-1, 5-0 WCC) who kept up the pressure for most of the 90 minutes, firing off a season-high 26 shots and putting 13 on goal. Izzy D'Aquila set a new career-high with her 16th of the year in the 20th minute and Colby Barnett scored directly off a corner kick in the 36th.
