SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - A trio of Santa Clara women's golf student-athletes were among the group of 10 athletes that were named to the 2023 Women's Golf WCC All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Santa Clara's three representatives tied San Francisco for the most in the league.
The three honorees were Claire Choi, Lauren Shew and Borina Sutikto.
Choi earned All-Academic honors for the third time of her Bronco Career. A graduate student from Honolulu, she recently put a stamp on her collegiate career by playing in all 11 events this season where she recorded a 75.
