MALIBU, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball went on the road and completed a season sweep of Pepperdine with a 63-54 win on Thursday night.
A 13-0 run late in the first quarter put the Broncos (13-11, 7-7 WCC) on top for good and Lindsey VanAllen moved into 10th on the program's all-time scoring list with a game-high 22 points.
VanAllen's 22 points puts her at 1,226 for her career. She finished the night with six rebounds and four triples while going 8-of-8 from the charity stripe. Lara Edmanson was 6-of-7 from the floor for 14 points and Merle Wiehl just missed a double-double with nine points and career-high 16 rebounds.
