SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara volleyball has made the AVCA Top 25 for the first time in nearly two years. The Broncos are ranked 19th in the poll, released Monday.
Santa Clara last made the Top 25 on Nov. 10, 2014, when they were ranked 25th. Monday marks the highest ranking for the Broncos since they were ranked 18th on Oct. 13, 2008.
The 6-0 Broncos are off to coming off their second tournament victory of the young season. They defeated No. 21 Louisville, Auburn and Stony brook to win the Active Ankle Challenge.
