SAN MATEO, Calif. — The Santa Clara University volleyball team had a program-record seven student-athletes honored Tuesday with 2022 West Coast Conference All-Academic awards, including Julia Sangiacomo, who landed on the WCC All-Academic first team for the third time in her career.
Sangiacomo was part of the 17-member WCC All-Academic first team that honors the conference's best both on the court and in the classroom. Six other Broncos earned WCC All-Academic honorable mention accolades: Kat Georgiadis, Lexi Poppinga, Nani Spaar, Anna Stucchi, Sophia Tulino and Grace Wee.
