LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Santa Clara softball players Ashley Trierweiler and Hazyl Gray were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region teams on Thursday becoming just the second and third Broncos to be honored.
Trierweiler was nabbed first team All-Pacific Region while Gray garnered second team recognition.
Established in 1983, the NFCA is the professional growth organization for fastpitch softball coaches from all competitive levels of play comprised of over 6,700 members from all 50 states and several international countries. The awards honor softball student-athletes from NFCA's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections.
