DAVIS, Calif. – Jesus Tapiador Barajas, Arthur Neuhaus and Ryan Ali advanced to the singles quarterfinal rounds in the opening day of the Aggie Invitational as part of eight wins picked up by Santa Clara men's tennis on Friday.
Playing in the singles A draw, Tapiador Barajas and Neuhaus picked up two victories each.
Tapiador Barajas beat Sacramento State's Joshua Snowdown-Poole, 6-1, 6-0 before taking care of Sonoma State's Santiago Sarudiansky, 6-2, 7-5. The Bronco senior will next face David Goulak of UC Davis at 11 a.m. PT on Saturday.
