SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center, a state-of-the-art training facility, was dedicated in a celebration on Tuesday on McCarthy Plaza in front of the facility.
Santa Clara Hall of Famer and National Champion Danielle Slaton emceed the event in front of donors and VIPs. Participating in the program Steve and Pat Schott, Mary and Mark Stevens, John M. and Timi Sobrato, Vickie Poitevin, Gary Filizetti, and Bronco Bench Foundation president Angie Robbiano.
Director of athletics Renee Baumgartner, acting university president Lisa Kloppenberg, and the Schotts made remarks with Father Jack Treacy blessing the building.
