Softball Beaten by Cal State Fullerton Saturday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball lost to Cal State Fullerton 8-1 Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Silicon Valley Classic II at the SCU Softball Field.

The game was scoreless until Broncos (3-11) starter Lauren Anderson loaded the bases in the fourth. Lauren Schiek came in but allowed all three runners to come across on a sacrifice fly and a two-run double by Deshea Hill.

Anderson (1-6) took the loss, allowing three runs on four hits with four walks and a strikeout in 4 1/3 innings.
