SANTA ClARA, Calif. - Hayden Shieh opens plays in the Albuquerque, New Mexico regional of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships Monday.
The 54-hole, three-day event is being held on the Championship Course (par-72, 7,555 yards) at the University of New Mexico.
Shieh is making his second-straight appearance in the NCAA Regional, both as an individual.
A 2015-16 first team All-West Coast Conference pick, Shieh has nine career top-10 finishes, including a pair of victories.
The sophomore tees off at 9:30 a.m. Pacific on Monday. There are 14 teams and five individuals playing in the New Mexico regional, one of the six across the country.
