MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - The highlights were many for Santa Clara women's golf following the completion of their first day at The Beach Invitational in Mission Viejo, Calif. Play was suspended today due to darkness and course conditions but the Broncos were still able to get the First Round in as well as 11 holes of the Second Round in.
Inara Sharma, who fired an opening round 5-over 77, provided the biggest moment of Day One as she made a hole-in-one on the 129-yard third hole, fittingly titled 'La Gran Laguna' as players are tasked with carrying their tee balls over a body of water.
