Bracket Santa Clara is 19-21-7 all-time against Stanford. Earlier this year the Cardinal beat the Broncos 2-1 in Palo Alto in a tightly contested match. In the NCAA Tournament the two teams are 4-4 in eight matchups, with the last coming in 2012 when Stanford came away with a 2-1 victory. The Broncos took down Long Beach State 3-0 on Saturday in the first round for the second straight season.
