ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Hayden Shieh carded a final round 4-over 76 to finish play at the Albuquerque regional of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships tied for 28th place with a three-day total of 228.
Playing as an individual in the event, Shieh needed to finish with the lowest score among players not on one of the top five teams.
"It was tough out there, the winds were challenging," Broncos head coach Rob Miller said. "But everybody had to play under the same conditions."
Tuesday's second-round 81 dropped Shieh down the leaderboard, putting him in a tough spot for Wednesday's final 18 holes.
