The reliever then retired the next three on a pop-up, strikeout and fly out.Pacific put a man on third with two outs in the ninth, but shortstop John Cresto made a leaping grab of a line drive to end the threat and the game.Starter Jason Seever went seven innings and improved to a team-best 6-2.
