SAN MATEO, Calif. - For the third time this season, Santa Clara men's basketball sophomore guard Brandin Podziemski is the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the West Coast Conference. Podziemski earns the award for the first time since the beginning of the season when he won back-to-back weeks to open the season.
With the win, Podziemski is the first Bronco since John Bryant in 2008-09 to earn WCC Player of the Week honors three times in a single season.
The Illinois transfer had a big week to help carry the Broncos to two big road victories over BYU and Portland.
