BANDON, Ore. - After opening with an under par Round 1, Calder Overfelt (71-72--143) was able to sustain his good play to shoot an even-par 72 in the Final Round to earn a tie for third place in the Bandon Dunes Championship, just three shots off of the individual medalist.
Part of Overfelt's impressive performance over the tournament was avoiding big numbers as he was able to not record a double bogey or worse in either round. Over the 36 holes, he recorded 10 birdies (six of them being in the Final Round) and nine bogeys and was second in Par 3 scoring with an average of 2.
