BANDON, Ore. - Freshman Calder Overfelt had a stretch of five holes in which he made four birdies on his way to a Round 1 score of 1-under 71; he is currently tied for 3rd in the Bandon Dunes Championship. As a team, the Broncos are sitting in a tie for 8th with Sacramento State after posting a cumulative first round 19-over 307.
Julien Paltrinieri and Nolan Forsman also kept their scores lower as they posted a 4-over 76 and a 5-over 77 and are sitting in T24 and T36, respectively.
