HARRISONBURG, Va. – Santa Clara women's soccer wrapped-up its trip to Virginia with a 2-0 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday.
The Broncos (3-1-2) got a first half goal from Izzy D'Aquila and a second half tally from Skylar Smith with Sally Menti, Alex Loera, and Kelsey Turnbow each adding an assist. Santa Clara made the most of its chances, finding the back of the net on both shots on goal, while firing off eight shots in total.
The Hokies (4-2) managed to put six of their 11 shots on target but were thwarted by Marlee Nicolos each time.
