SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Returning home after a tough road trip to the Pacific Northwest, No. 22 Santa Clara women's soccer hosts Marquette Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Stevens Stadium.
This will be just the third meeting between the Broncos and the Golden Eagles. The Broncos are 2-0 all-time with a 2-0 win in 2004 and a 1-0 win in 1999. Both wins came at home for Santa Clara.
Last week the Broncos fell at Washington State 1-0 and Washington 2-1. Against the Cougars, Santa Clara fell behind at the end of the first half and couldn't find the equalizer, including in a strong late push.
