Maria Najjuma’s basketball journey didn’t begin with childhood camps or youth leagues. It began in 2018, when she was 15 years old in Kampala, Uganda, discovering a game that would open doors she hadn’t imagined. Now at Santa Clara, she carries that sense of discovery with her into every practice and game, eager to compete, learn, and help the Broncos reach new heights.
“I’m excited to compete with my teammates, learn from my coaches, and be part of the Santa Clara basketball family,” Najjuma said. “I look forward to growing as a player, building strong relationships, and contributing to the team’s success.
