MORAGA, Calif. - A pair of Santa Clara men's tennis players won their singles matches at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships on Thursday to forge ahead to the round of 16.
Guillaume Dalmasso, who had an opening round bye, defeated Alex Lee of Stanford in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 while Arthur Neuhaus deposed Sacramento State's Jan Silva 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
Dalmasso will face Ori Maior from Sacramento State and Neuhaus will take on Aryan Chaudhary of Stanford in the round of 16 matchups on Friday. Both matches will be played at 11 a.
