SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara men's rowing is set for its second trip to the IRA National Championship Regatta in as many seasons. The Broncos are sending Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats to compete at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. Friday through Sunday.
"This has been another historic season for the program and we are looking to cap it off with a solid performance on the national stage," head coach Jay Farwell said. "The goal is to continue our progression against a very competitive field. The Varsity 8 placed 24th last year, so we are looking to build off that and see if we can knock off some crews that are seeded below us.
