SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Rob Miller, Santa Clara's men's golf coach the last 15 seasons, has announced his retirement.
Miller led the Broncos to 13 team titles, the only two NCAA Championship appearances in school history and produced nine golfers who earned All-West Coast Conference accolades, including three tabbed as the top freshman in the league.
"I think I'm walking away from a program that's in good shape and respected," Miller said. "I didn't know how long I'd do it since I had no experience. I had to figure out what it took to bring the program up to a level of respectability.
