SANTA CLARA, Calif. – A balanced scoring attack and its best defensive performance of the season sent Santa Clara men's basketball to victory in Tuesday's matchup with UC Riverside.
Nate Kratch (18) and Matt Hauser (career-high 18) combined to score 36 points for the Broncos (5-6) who shot 47 percent from the floor in claiming a 77-53 win against UC Riverside (1-5) in the team's final nonconference home game.
Henrik Jadersten and Kai Healy provided a boost off the bench. Healy posted his first-career double-double with 10 points and a career-high tying 10 rebounds.
